The Maidstone Model Engineering Society welcomes new members and there are various categories of membership available within the Society.
The obvious activity for our Society is the operation of the Maidstone Park Miniature Railway and all members are invited to join in and assist with the running of the railway.
Many of our members are involved in the engineering aspect of the hobby, and several have built or own their very own miniature locomotives. The engineering aspect of the hobby includes everything from machine shop, 3D printing to electronics.

Adult Members
This category of membership is for individuals aged 17 or older
Super-annuitant
This category of membership is for individuals aged 65 and over
Family Membership
This category of membership includes membership of immediate family including children under 16 years of age.
Country members
This category of membership is for individuals who reside outside a radius of 50km of Upper Hutt
Junior members
This category of membership is for individuals who are full time scholars and/or apprentices up to and including their third year
